No, no, silly!

Naved-ul-Hasan isn’t asking Warnie how to bowl legspinners!

However, something I noticed for the first time in the second ODI between Pakistan and Sri Lanka (couldn’t watch the first one on TV) was the fact that Naved-ul-Hasan has a shocking amount of hair!

I barely watched much of the ICL and, so, was shocked to see him with such a mane!

So I decided to go back to the cricinfo archives to see whether my eyes were playing tricks on me and here’s what I found.

The pic was taken on December 16, 2007.

Ha!

You can’t fool me, Mr. Naved-ul-Hasan! Doing a Fidel Edwards doesn’t hide the fact that you were a baldie! πŸ˜›

So, could you be a nice boy and pass on some tips to Viru Sehwag so that he can get his hair back as well? And, while on the subject, be a darling and pass on some to Sanath as well!

  1. Vikas says:

In the recent matches in which sehwag played many noticed that he kept wearing cap even while bowling, might be for hiding his baldness.

  2. Cricket Tragic says:

@VikasIt isn't very pleasant to show a bald head at the age of 29 itself! :(Little does he know that wearing a cap makes the whole thing worse as the heat which builds up in the head due to wearing the cap constantly can make him even more bald! 😦

  3. Q says:

Rana got a hair transplant during the time he was in the ICL.. I think it was when he was playing county cricket last summer..

  4. Cricket Tragic says:

@QThat's gr8, he looks much cool and young with the hair transplant! πŸ˜›

  5. Anonymous says:

Naved turned up for his first game with Yorkshire, Oval May 2008, with it done. At first supporters thought it was a toupee (it got the nickname Henry) but it turns out it was indeed a hair transplant.

  6. Cricket Tragic says:

@AnonymousMan, I sure can understand how the Tykes supporters would have felt! πŸ˜›
